Orlando Attractions

The Orlando area is home to a wide variety of tourist attractions, including the Walt Disney World resort, Universal Orlando Resort, and SeaWorld Orlando. The Walt Disney World resort is the area's largest attraction with its many facets such as the Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios, Disney's Animal Kingdom, Typhoon Lagoon, Blizzard Beach, Downtown Disney, Cirque du Soleil: La Nouba, in Downtown Disney West Side, features its renowned blend of acrobatics and special effects with more than 70 artists from around the globe performing in a custom-designed, 1,671-seat theater.

SeaWorld Orlando is a large adventure park that features numerous zoological displays and marine animals alongside an amusement park with roller coasters and Water Park. With admission to Discovery Cove limited to around a thousand people a day (advance reservations only), those lucky enough to get in will have the interactive experience of a lifetime.
Universal Studios Orlando, like Walt Disney World, is a multi-faceted resort comprised of Universal Studios, City Walk and the Islands of Adventure theme park.

Action Attractions are somewhat out of the ordinary activities that require a little more (or in some cases a lot more!) physical exertion. There are several locations in and around Orlando where you can actively participate. Choose from racing cars, hot-air ballooning, water-skiing, sky diving, or bungeeing - whatever you decide expect some kind of adrenaline rush.

With a beautiful location on the shores of Lake Bryan, Buena Vista Water Sports is the ideal place to chill for a couple of hours. Those who want to can participate in a variety of activities while less active members of the group can lie out on the sandy beach.
Typically a 6am start is required at Orlando Balloon Rides, but it's definitely worth hauling yourself out of bed! You get to help with all the pre-flight preparations and will watch amazed as these giant clouds of brightly colored silk come to life.
Get behind the wheel of a real racing car at the Richard Petty Driving Experience in the Walt Disney World Speedway.
Here's something really different! Sky Venture offers the fun, exhilaration, and excitement of skydiving without having to jump out of a perfectly good airplane!
Silver Springs was definitely at the front of the line when Mother Nature was handing out raw natural beauty. The springs themselves are the source of the
beautiful Silver River.
Cypress Gardens Adventure Park  an amusement park opened in 1936. This park features beautiful botanical gardens, 40 rides, 5 roller coasters and a water park. But it is most famous for it lovely southern belles and world-renown Ski Shows!
Take a deep breath and plunge into The Florida Adventure Tour. The beautiful Crystal River (a 2 hour bus ride from Orlando) is a magnet for those interested in Florida wildlife.
At Boggy Creek Airboats, cruise on top of the water at speeds up to 45mph as you search for all kinds of amazing Florida wildlife.
Founded by the late Owen Godwin in 1949, and still privately owned by his family today, Gatorland is a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve, combining "Old Florida" charm with exciting, new exhibits and entertainment. Known internationally as the "Alligator Capital of the World," Gatorland today provides affordably priced family-fun with thousands of alligators and crocodiles, a breeding marsh with boardwalk and observation tower, one-of-a-kind reptilian shows, aviary, petting zoo, swamp walk, educational programs and much, much more.
