The Burnett School of Biomedical Sciences is a 198,000 square-feet five story building with a major transgenic animal facility and Biosafety Level Three laboratories and is expected to be completed by Spring of 2009. The school will help the UCF College of Medicine build a research intensive medical school where cutting edge medical research will span the entire spectrun from the laboratory bench to bedside of the patients, providing a wonderful enviornment of training physicians and biomedical researchers.
